compare and comparison draft 2

Both department stores and mail-order catalogues satisfy the customers’ desire. However, they have many differences in shopping time, fitting or not, and touching and feeling of goods. According to these following facts, you will know how different they are.

Using mail-order catalogues is more flexible than shopping in department store. Shopping in the department store based on your timing which could influences you when you can go shopping. We usually go shopping at night, especially on Friday nights and holidays. However, we usually don’t have enough time go shopping. For example, I’m usually tired after school so that I am not able to hang around in department store. Sometimes I want to give a gift to my friend, yet I don’t have time to buy a present for him. On the contrary, mail-order catalogues can be used in my free time, such as lunch time, tea time or even on the call of nature.

One of benefits of shopping in department store is that you can try on your clothes or shoes. It can help me to know which size I need so that I can exactly know the goods which are fit or not. On the contrary, the mail-order catalogues are not suitable due to the fact that I can’t try on the clothes before I buy them.

You have sample to use or touch so that you will know what kind of quality it is department store. Nevertheless, the items of mail-order catalogues only can be seen before you buy them. Therefore, you won’t have the feeling of touching.

Department store and mail-order catalogues have different features for people. It depends on when you are free to go shopping or what kind of goods you need.
